Persistent Herbicide Issue Paper and Position Statement Now Available

The US Composting Council is calling on the EPA to take significant steps to prevent the tainting of compost with herbicides that persist through the composting process and can still impact sensitive plants,  The EPA needs to add a “compostability test” and threshold and then require all current and future herbicides to meet that threshold.
